Data Deletion Instructions

NOI ("we," "us," or "our") respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of the personal information we hold about you, including any data obtained through Facebook Login or other social sign-in providers.

How to request data deletion

To request deletion of your personal data from NOI, email us at hello@joinnoi.com from the email address associated with your NOI account (or the email tied to your Facebook account, if you signed in with Facebook). Include the following in your request:

  • Subject line: Data Deletion Request
  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • The property, project, or organization your account is linked to (if applicable)
  • If you used Facebook Login, mention that so we can locate the linked identifier

What happens next

  1. We confirm receipt of your request within 3 business days.
  2. We verify your identity to protect your data from unauthorized deletion requests.
  3. We delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of verified request, and remove any linked Facebook identifiers from our systems.
  4. We notify you by email when the deletion is complete.

What we cannot delete

Some information may be retained where required by law, for legitimate business purposes, or to complete active contractual obligations. Examples include:

  • Billing, payment, and tax records required by financial and tax regulations.
  • Records tied to active solar service agreements or ongoing tenant billing while the underlying contract remains in effect.
  • Anonymized or aggregated data that no longer identifies you.

Facebook Login users

If you signed into NOI using Facebook Login, you can also revoke NOI's access to your Facebook data at any time from your Facebook account:

  1. Go to Settings & Privacy → Settings → Apps and Websites on Facebook.
  2. Find NOI in the list of connected apps.
  3. Click Remove to revoke access.

Revoking access on Facebook prevents future data sharing but does not automatically delete data already stored on NOI's systems — email us as described above to complete the deletion.
